Fifth day of Fajr Festival in pictures

The fifth day of the 37th annual Fajr International Film Festival was held today in Tehran, with guest appearances made by various actors and filmmakers at the event.

Screening 107 titles from 75 countries around the world, the festival featured appearances by award-winning American screenwriter Paul Schrader, Spanish producer Rosa Bosch, Iranian filmmakers Narges Abyar, Soroush Sehhat, and Mohsen Tanabandeh, along with actors Pejman Jamshidi and Javad Ezzati among others.

Headed by Iranian filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi, the 37th Fajr International Film Festival will run in the capital, Tehran, until April 26.

A national version of the festival kicked off on January 30 and wrapped up on February 11.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
